Dreamed Into Reality
We communicate with every cell of our bodies every second of the day. The organs, tissues, bones, muscles, and body systems listen and respond to our communication all day. We are in constant communication with ourselves and the world around us. When communicating with negative emotions or thoughts, we get a negative response from the organs in our body and every hair on our head. Every single part of us reacts to our thoughts and feelings. So, our health and well-being are forever linked to our consciousness. Our consciousness is the switchboard that sends signals to the world inside and outside us. We are broadcasting at all times, broadcasting a signal that is received by the entire atomic structure of our physical body and the world around us. The world around us is comprised of atoms, the same as the world inside us. We are creators of the universe every second of every day. The world we create with our thoughts and feelings affects everyone and everything. We are not alone on this planet or in this universe. So, by our thoughts and feelings, we are creating the way the universe appears before our eyes. Our world appears before our eyes because of how we perceive it. Our beliefs, judgments, and interpretations create a vibratory field that affects us inwardly and outwardly. Our world reflects our perceptions, but we can change our reality by changing them. The reality we are currently living is a byproduct of the thoughts and feelings that created it. The power and control we have over our world and our lives are in having control over our thoughts and feelings. Self-mastery pertains to this—mastery over the ‘self.’ Our ‘self’ is primarily a conditioned accumulation of thoughts and feelings that make up a personality. But the personality is ever-changing, evolving with our consciousness. By choosing the thoughts and feelings we wish to evolve to, we become not only a master of ‘self’ but a master of reality, nature, and the universe. It is our ‘self’ that creates our reality.
Our ‘self’ is ever-changing, whether we are conscious of it or not. That means it can also be changed consciously. By consciously choosing our thoughts and feelings and what we allow into our mental and emotional bodies, we have the power to evolve negatively or positively. Negativity always produces negative results, and positivity produces positive results. Choosing positive thoughts and feelings and holding them even when negative ones arise will have a more favorable effect in all circumstances. The result we manifest is always determined by the projection of our thoughts and feelings into an outcome. Therefore, by changing our thoughts and feelings, we change the result. We can let the outcome be an indicator of our range of thoughts and feelings without being attached. We can see it as more malleable with some detachment from the outcome we have produced or the reality we are currently living. And because it is pliable, we have the authority and ability to change it however we see fit by self-analysis of the thoughts and feelings that produced it.
When we think of reality as an illusion, we give it power. But when we think of it as the illusory outcome of our thoughts and feelings, it gives us the power to create a different reflection of our consciousness. Lucid dreaming happens whether we are awake or sleeping. But the more ‘awake’ we are, the more lucid our dreams will become. Lucid dreaming occurs when we consciously participate in the outcome of our dreams while asleep. The same thing happens when we are awake. Sleeping dreams reflect our consciousness without the interpretation of our cognitive mind because it is sleeping along with our physical body. But when awake, our cognitive mind and physical body come to life to help us navigate and interpret our physical world. How we perceive our physical world is an interpretation of our consciousness by our cognitive mind to navigate physical reality. How we perceive it is entirely up to us. We create the dream we live in during our waking hours precisely the same way we create our sleeping dreams. By choosing our conscious thoughts and feelings, we become more lucid in our waking dream the same way we do in our sleeping dreams by making conscious choices. The only separation between our sleeping dreams and our waking dream is the interpretation by our cognitive mind of our conscious and subconscious.
Our path of self-mastery is to use our cognitive mind to create whatever thoughts and feelings we want to become a part of our subconscious through repetition—repetitive choice of our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are what condition the subconscious mind. We choose the direction we evolve by controlling our thoughts and selecting what we allow into our consciousness. In this self-mastery, our personality becomes a creation of our own making rather than simply an accumulation of influences, subtle and otherwise, that we have allowed to produce the dream we are currently having.
Creating our world through the thoughts and feelings we produce is our right by divine authority. We are God beings, so our divine authority comes from within. Sovereignty is a reflection of that authority and gives us free will. Each one of us is an individualized aspect of God consciousness. We are God and, as such, have divine power over our lives. Understanding the laws of the universe and applying them to our lives is how we become masters of the universe, but our divine authority gives us the right and ability to master it. It also gives us the right to choose whether we allow the universe to master us or we master it. This is also our divine right. We can choose to take part in this world with as little or as much understanding as we want. What we decide to do with that understanding is also entirely up to us. We are free will. Our will is free but governed by the same laws of the universe that provide balance and structure to the bodies we walk around in and the planets we ride on through space. They regulate the form and the formless; without them, there would be no form or space.
We are the creation of universal laws in action. The universal laws are fixed and can be mastered only by mastering ourselves. Because universal laws are set, we can only master them by mastering the variable. We are the variable. With our thoughts and feelings, we first master ourselves and then use them to master the universal laws. Our sovereignty is such that we are a product of the universal laws we can master. So by that understanding, we can only use the universal laws to master ourselves, and by doing so we master the universal laws— one of life’s many paradoxes.
Universal laws govern energy; since we are energy, they also govern us. The remarkable thing is that even though universal laws are fixed, they are not limited. And neither are we in our ability to use them. They are limitless in power and reach. They can be used anywhere in the universe to create universes and have been. So, when we think we are limited in our free will because of laws that govern the universe, we must think again. Even our ability to misuse the laws of the universe is limitless, but not without consequence. The unlimited use of universal laws for good also produces results… infinite good. Who wouldn't want that?
We are here to master our thoughts and feelings, the universe within our physical bodies, and the one we are part of outside our physical selves. We are unlimited in what we can create for ourselves, whether negative or positive. We alone have the sovereign authority to create whatever we desire through our God presence. We are the God presence that gives us the sovereignty to produce our own reality. We are responsible for all our creations by the same divine authority that gives us freedom. We are by divine right responsible. Our creation is our creation.
